Up hill and down dale
The Eisacktal valley is a cyclist’s El Dorado offering an almost endless choice of routes, from the easy cycle paths down in the valley to idyllic trails across woodland and pastures up to the more challenging high-altitude trails on Mt. Plose. Whether you are a leisure cyclist or an adventure-thirsty mountain biker, the area offers options for every taste and skill level. Thanks to its mild climate, the Eisacktal valley enjoys a long cycling season going from spring through to late autumn, when the mountain tops get their first white sprinkling of snow. You can explore the area on your own or take a guided tour and let a professional guide show you the most scenic routes. If you would rather leave your own bike at home, you can always rent a bike, MTB or E-bike and protective gear at the rental shop by the mountain terminal of the Plose cable car.
